Today, i went at 20.30 at the restaurant and they told me that it was already "close". I didnt understand it when it was open and they said that close at 22.00. Really sad.

Myself and 3 other friends were guests at Mommies Corner today (for the first time). The first contact, as one would expect, was extremely friendly from the staff. A young lady greeted us in a friendly manner and ordered us to a free table. She then gave each of us a menu and cutlery. At first we were a bit overwhelmed with the menu, as we had no experience with dishes that come from Africa. So we called the young lady for help in order to roughly explain to us which dishes they offer here. Since we wanted it to be extremely culinary, she asked us to try 4 different culinary dishes that are very popular in Mommies Corner. That sounded exactly what we were looking for. So I ordered the national dish of Ghana, Fufu and my 3 other friends, yellow rice with chicken, rice with spinach and jollof rice with fish. Doesn't sound exciting and extra vague, but that was the brief explanation of the employee, but you have to look at the dishes live on site and get an idea, they were difficult to define in terms of their content and the serving wise. We loved the food. Mainly because the dishes appeared in excess, the waiting time was still relatively moderate, although the shop was very busy (Friday evening). For the fact that the 4 of us each had a main course and each a drink with a small dessert (yoghurt with couscous and small quark balls) and paid around 90 €, the price / performance ratio was very good compared to other restaurants. But there is a small drawback, namely Mommies Corner is quickly overcrowded by its size, so I advise you to come earlier on weekend days, otherwise you have to take a while Wait until you get a seat. We were very lucky that a table became free immediately. Overall, we were very satisfied with Mommies Corner and would visit Mommies Corner again in the foreseeable future and recommend it to others.

By far the best African shop I have visited in Germany. You come in and are immediately greeted warmly! The food was delicious and I'm always happy when I'm there. ?

The tables in the restaurant were properly cleaned and the armchairs were extremely comfortable. Here you get both: personable and fast service. We didn't have to wait the slightest bit long for the food and our drinks. That was great, because we had a binge of eating that night and I haven't been so fascinated by a restaurant for a long time.

Very Poor customer service, the African dish is sometimes days old. 1 star for having food present.

I usually patronize a place i never checked out by reading reviews , both good and bad, at least i get an idea on what to expect , not just the food but the customer service delivered. I was going through the reviews and noticed something really odd, about a customer complaining about a service, and then there was no single apology from the owner to the customer , the least every business owner could do was to apologize irrespective of their position whether right or wrong , i noticed a defensive position , at the end of the day the "customer is always right". I was expecting a better response and at least offered the customer another opportunity to come over and make things right, but that wasn't the case. Anyways hope they work on that.

I went to this restaurant as a customer today at 9:30 pm and ask for my service to be delivered a little faster , a lady serving there who's supposedly one of the owners disrespectfully said if I can't wait I should leave the place. His husband jumped in to defend her that I am wrong for asking for a faster service. BAD SERVICE so I had to leave the place I knew they would not do this to white folks

Have got various African made food typically of Ghanaian origin. The food is nice and tastes good. One of the few African spots in Bremen.

Was that there yesterday and I am totally thrilled it was so delicious and the employees were also super nice. It's a shame that there is no such thing in wilhelmehaven

Good food and friendly service

Traditional Ghanaian dishes from meat, veggies to vegan. One could choose from a variety of menus which will give you a Ghanaian food experience. A very friendly atmosphere is a guarantee.

You just feel good at Mommies. Authentic food and drink from West Africa. Super nice team - if you want to broaden your mind for African food, this is the right place for you.

The decorations on the squares and in the whole restaurant are sensible and tasteful. The toilets are always clean and all in all, the restaurant gives a very good impression. The staff is always hard-working and always friendly! I found the offer extremely appealing. I would have loved to have tasted my hunger first, but then there would have been more space for the unique dish

Really very good shop, went by today and thought we could give it a try The food is really unique, the meat and fish cooked perfectly. Quasi falls off the bone and the food is generally very flavorful. The service and the waiters are super friendly and also happy to advise you if you don't know what to take. All in all a great restaurant 5 stars

Very nice team. Well-attended snack bar. Seems to be very popular in the new town. The ambience is getting a bit old. Sanitary facilities need getting used to. French fries are not crispy enough. Bissle seasoning was missing here and there. We weren't really fed up.

Family owned traditional African restaurant run by a lovely couple, delicious meal, serene atmosphere and budget meal. Visited with some friends on a weekend tour.

The food is amazing! According to my African friend, this restaurant is quite authentic. The portioning is great! The staffs are very friendly as well. The place is not so big though, it could only accommodate around 15 people. The only downside is the air circulation, which not good at all. The smell from the cooking process often got trapped and couldn't got away.

Is really something else. It should only have been declared that the spinach is prepared with fish. Otherwise I would like to come back to try other dishes as everything looked very good.

It was nice in my experience when I visited mommies corner, I was served by banku and okro soup which was very delicious made no difference from Africa, it's was enthusiasm n joyful restaurant.
